It seems like Thanksgiving should be next week. It's always the last Thursday in November, but this November had way more Thursdays than I bargained for. I'm sick of this lame period where Christmas music is shunned at karaoke bars, and only the best of planners are buying Christmas presents right now. I'm ready to get my Turkey on, watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and spend all my disposable income on gifts for my friends and family! It's the most wonderful time of the year for a reason, and the fact that I have to wait nearly 2 weeks before I can start celebrating is downright un-American.
